Joseph is a farmer and horticulturist. He is married and has two sons in the army. He runs his business alone and employs workers for agricultural tasks. Marketing his flowers in the capital, he goes to Beirut daily.

Joseph met with AEP through the credit officer and in June 2014 received an exceptional first loan of $6,000! AEP had judged his situation to be sufficiently stable to merit it and the credit allowed the business to increase activity and renew equipment, plants, fertilizer and greenhouses.

The Association does not have cause to regret its trust in Joseph’s farming ability, as he was able to pay off his loan by January 2017.
